About Us
DIYframing was established in 2003 in recognition of the increasing interest people have in framing their own work. It started with the "on-line store" where people could buy all of the tools and materials they needed for their projects, at affordable prices and in manageable amounts. Later, with the need to offer customers support as their interest grew, the website started to post information and guidance. This later developed into a basic framing course to get people started. Within a year, places on courses were filling as quickly as they were offered and the thirst for developing framing skills further became clear.
As the demand for both framing products and an extensive training programme has grown, so has DIYframing. However it remains a company belief that by looking after customers and helping you to achieve a high standard of framing, you will remain loyal to us and continue to purchase from DIYframing.
Based in Beaconsfield (Near London) at Woodlands Farm Studio, DIYframing now offers:
- a complete product range for all aspects of framing, available on-line or by mail order;
- a complete training programme covering all aspects of framing, from novice through to starting your own business;
- training opportunities nearer to where you live;
- direct support and advice via the telephone or on-line forum
- a website which is fast to use, clearly set out and packed with ideas
- a library of articles and newsletters to help you research and undertake new projects
- a presence at leading trade shows and exhibitions where you can take advantage of some discounts and 1:1 advice;
- workshops and seminars to help you get started (usually based at shows and exhibitions)
Other companies may offer some of what DIYframing does, nobody else offers it all!
