Cross Stitch Framing and Mounting

Hello Cross-stitchers

Diyframing, Cross Stitch Crazy the World of Cross killer whale cross stitchStitch and www.cross-stitching.com have joined forces to give cross stitchers throughout the UK the opportunity to create beautiful frames for their needlework.

Over the next few months we will be offering the chance to win a FREE place on our fantastic  needlework framing courses, free giveaways and much, much more in an effort to educate you to the virtues of framing your own work. Never has it been so simple to frame for yourself with courses and easy to use table top tools that can help you frame your own at home.

I have spent many years at crafting exhibitions chatting with stitchers about the best way to present their work, some start with a simple readymade frame that they decorate but very few make a frame from scratch. This is where we can help and it is really easy with the right tuition and tools.

What is the biggest moan about framing?

Of course it's cost. Take a cross stitch piece into a high street framers for framing that is 300 x 400mm in size, ask for a 65mm double mount and non reflective glass and you are likely to get a bill for over £90. As beautiful as it may look that is a lot of money.

However if you do it yourself that very same picture would only cost you £10! No comparison eh?

Well welcome to the world of Diyframing where you can learn to present your masterpieces that will make them stand out in a class of their own.
