About the programme
This is a Feature, Framing Special aimed at complete novices who want to learn how to frame and present their artwork in more creative, artistic and unique ways. Day 1 is based on our Basics of Framing package. Day 2 is a essentially our Adding Decorative Finishes to frames course.
Basics of Framing (click for more) deals with all aspects of planning and making a mounted and framed piece of 2D artwork, such as a print,
Adding Decorative Finishes To Frames (click for more) explores how to create your ownfinishes on bare wood mouldings. It takes account of general pronciples when working with different types of wood. We deal with a wide range of products which you can then try out for yourself. In addition there is a demonstration of the principles behind leaf metal gilding.
