Logan 450 Intermediate Mount Cutter

The Logan 450 is an all purpose, economical 81.3 cm (40")  mount cutting system capable of cutting a full size 81.3 cm x 101.6 cm (32" x 40") sheet of mountboard. This is a great cutter for medium duty home use and has been designed with artists, photographers, crafters and framers in mind. It includes a parallel mount guide for setting border widths up to 10.8cm (4.25"), a hinged aluminium guide providing a rail for the interchangeable cutters as well as a means of holding the mount board steady.  A special feature is the 90 degree squaring bar for true corners (not to be confused with the larger squaring arm on other Logan models.) Other elements in the Logan 450 cutting system are:  straight and bevel cutting heads; 5 extra Logan 270 blades; instructional video and guidance booklet.  The Bevel Cutting Head is a pull style cutter which includes an ergonomic handle and a pivot-and-pull blade in our patented blade slot. The pull style ensures a more accurate cut and, for those of you who are left-handed, the pull style is likely to be more comfortable.  You will also achieve straighter cuts with this system because the blade slot prevents the blade from flexing. There is a start-and-stop indicator which helps to eliminate overcuts, making this cutter an excellent choice for creating accurately cut mounts for all artwork.  The Straight Cutting Head  features: 3 blade settings (safety, matboard, foamboard); larger, ergonomic, comfortable handle; "start" and "stop" indicator; safety blade cover.
