Sue Harper GCF

Originally teaching mathematics at a senior school in South Africa, Sue has been involved in training for over 25 years. She first came to the UK for a year, to write courses for a computer software company.  The work involved writing courses and then travelling the world running train-the-trainer sessions.  That’s when the passion for photography kicked in. One year soon became two and before long, Sue stopped counting the years. As for so many who work long hours, a hobby is imperative and with so much time spent on the road, photography was the perfect solution. The first framing class Sue attended was the Basics of Framing with DIY Framing in July 2005.  At that stage she was framing her own work, some of which she went on to sell. Over the years Sue has attended more DIY Framing courses and loved each one of them.  In 2012 Sue started framing more seriously and now has a small workshop in West London and is framing for a growing customer base.  Sue enjoys framing for others; particularly artists who want to take advantage of her bespoke frame services. She carries the small desire to continue selling her own photography and is delighted to have the opportunity of combining two passions, teaching and framing for DIY Framing.
