In December we go to York when we will also be running a Canvas Art Framing day and don’t forget our Open Day at High Wycombe on the 9th December. Straight after Christmas we return to Cambridge with Leicester shortly afterwards. February sees us return to Manchester, where we will also be running a Fabric Framing training day, rounding off the month with a visit to Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Is it too early to mention that we will be at Focus on Imaging 2012 at the NEC, starting 4th March?

Last Chance

Have the framing skills and want to go further? Just need to know how to get organised? Not sure how to market your framing business? Have an existing art / photography business and want to add a new strand? This is the last chance to book on one, or both of our Business Development Days.  They could be just the job. The business days will help you create an in depth development plan for your own particular business. DAY1- Organising & Planning a Framing Business: we cover the practical side of getting organised, exploring areas such as pricing, professional framing kit, workshop layout and bespoke framing ideas. DAY2 - Creating Business Success: on the second Business Day we start to build up your own bank of ideas for how to fill your order book and create your own Unique Selling Points.

Festive Open Day

Our Christmas Open Day is: Friday, 9th December 10.00 am - 2.30 pm. There will be discounts on selected tools and materials (except items already on offer), great deals on ex demo and end of line items, and many bargain buys (selected moulding packs, mountboard). You will also be able to see demonstrations of the new range of Logan mount cutters, along with all other tools and equipment. In addition, we are offering another free seminar: Christmas Decoration. This time, if you are looking trying to think of personalised presents, we show how you can take decorative items and show them off in dazzling style with a few, bespoke framing skills. We will use paint effects on mounts and moulding, use gilt cream to add bling to bevels and highlight some cunning ways to attach items to their backgrounds. To view PDF advert click Christmas Decoration.

Although sessions are free, you will need to book in advance for either the 10.30 pm or 1.00 pm session. To register for one of the sessions please contact Richard Buttle (Lead Trainer) on his email: rich.buttle@btinternet.com

Comparison Chart for Brand New DIYframing Kits

Following the launch of the new kits, we recognised that it may be difficult to keep flicking from one package to another to see how they compare. So, we have made a comparison chart featuring all kits. It lists equipment, samples and materials, linked to key framing elements, along with prices and bonus vouchers.
