Fine Art Trade Guild (FATG) Initiative

“At the Fine Art Trade Guild we believe that artists should be able to make a living from their art, which is why we came up with the NEW Original Art Register to help artists and photographers protect and promote their creations.”

OAR is the new independent and secure registration service from the Fine Art Trade Guild, the experts in print registrations since 1847. Their artist members identified that intellectual property theft was one of their biggest concerns so the Guild has invested considerably in developing this programme for creators of original art and photography.  The Original Art Register was launched at the Guild's Art and Framing Convention in May this year and they already have over 1000 registrations on the OAR database.

You do not have to be a member of the FATG to benefit from this initiative. If you would like to find out more visit: FATG Original Art Register

Bright New Additions to Mouldings

We have just added over 20 new styles to our moulding range.  They might be difficult to spot on the website so we have created a little, downloadable PDF Additional Mouldings 2016.  This will allow you to see the new stock and then discover more from the product detail in the appropriate range.  We hope you like them.

  • 4 x 3.0 mm strips (1.524 m)

Roller Range

Rubber Rollers: after many enquiries about extending the range of sizes, we are pleased to say that we now stock a 200 mm (7.9”) roller.  The smallest of our previous range (100 mm / 2.4”) is now no longer available.

August 2016

Hope you are enjoying some good summer weather and have either had a break or are looking forward to holidays.  Here are a few bits & pieces to keep you in touch with your framing and help set up some summer projects.

There are some new additions to the moulding range: including some lively shades ideal for a bit of added seasonal drama.

The Fine Art Trade Guild has launched a new initiative, the Original Art Register, which will prove very useful to all of our artist customers.

Also noted in this edition is some new product: EconoSpace© a simple way of creating additional space behind the glass; and a wider roller (in response to popular demand).
